Supercars race weekend guide

What is the difference between a round and a race?

A round is the whole event at one circuit. It can include several races, plus practice and qualifying. Open an event card to see each session and its own start time.

Which sessions should I look for?

Practice gives drivers and teams time to prepare. Qualifying helps decide the starting grid, while races count towards the championship. The number and order of sessions vary by round; use the published qualifying times and event timetable.

What is a Top Ten Shootout?

At rounds that include one, the leading ten qualifiers take individual timed laps to decide their starting order. A Shootout is a qualifying session, so look for the separate race start as well.

Are race times shown in my local time?

Session times on this page are shown in Sydney time. Choose your Australian city at the top of the page to convert them, including daylight saving. Event date ranges stay in the circuit’s local time, including rounds in New Zealand.

Should I subscribe or download the calendar?

A calendar subscription can pick up schedule changes when your calendar app refreshes. An imported .ics download is a one-time copy. Use calendar subscriptions to choose all sessions or races only.

What do provisional results and scheduled now mean?

Provisional results may change before the final classification is issued. “Scheduled now” follows the published timetable and is not live timing. Schedules and results are checked twice daily; open race results to see the latest available classification.

Information updated: 2 Nov, 1:08 AM AEDT. Not a live timing service.Official Supercars calendar ↗
