Understand the Supercars points table

Are driver points and team points the same?

They are separate championships with separate official reports. Use the buttons above to choose the table you want. The cut-off and publication time belong to the selected report, so a newer driver report does not imply that the team table has also changed.

Why can Finals points look different from race totals?

The drivers' Finals format can reset points between stages and apply seeding bonuses. For 2026, the rules also change how eliminated Finals drivers return to their original points tally. Adding up individual race scores or comparing a Sprint Cup table with a Finals table will not necessarily reproduce this report. Driver Finals rules should not be applied to the teams' table.

Have the reported penalties already been deducted?

The points column is the official reported total. The penalty column is shown for reference; we do not subtract it a second time. A zero penalty is different from a missing penalty value.

What happens when two drivers or teams have equal points?

We keep the positions in the official report, including its tie-break decisions and any gaps in position numbers. A zero gap means equal points, not necessarily a shared championship position. We do not reorder the table or infer Finals qualification from the points gap.

When will the standings update?

Read the cut-off above to see which race the available table covers. A report may be issued or revised after the racing has finished; its issue time is not the time of the race. Provisional reports remain subject to revision.
