Supercars Schedule privacy policy
How Supercars Schedule uses city cookies, contact messages and calendar requests. Learn what is stored and how to ask about your information.
Your privacy at a glance
This policy describes how the Supercars Schedule website operator handles information when you browse this guide, choose a city, use calendar tools or send a message. It covers this independent website, rather than Supercars or its broadcasters.
- You do not need an account to browse race times or results.
- Your chosen city is remembered in a preference cookie.
- Contact messages are stored privately; an email address is optional.
- You can ask about a message through the contact form using “Privacy enquiry”.
Information we collect and why
Information you choose to send
The contact form stores your enquiry category, message, related page, submission time and optional email address. A submission identifier helps prevent duplicates, and a reference number lets you refer to the message later. These details support reviewing corrections, handling website feedback and following up on enquiries.
Information used to keep the service working
For spam prevention, the form stores a coded identifier derived from your network address. It is not your raw IP address in the feedback record. Hosting and server logs may separately contain IP addresses, requested pages, request times, browser details and errors needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.
Please do not send passwords, payment information, identity documents or sensitive personal details in a routine correction.
Calendar apps, other websites and tracking
PDF and calendar files
Downloading a PDF or ICS file does not create an account or join an email list. A calendar subscription asks your calendar app or provider to fetch a public feed periodically. That provider handles the subscription under its own privacy policy. Removing the subscription in your calendar app stops its future refreshes.
Official sources and viewing links
Following a broadcaster, ticket or official source link takes you to another service. That service can collect information under its own policy. We do not receive your broadcaster passwords or payment details through these links.
Advertising and analytics
Outside the optional official video player, Supercars Schedule does not load advertising or third-party analytics scripts. We do not sell information collected through the contact form.
Official video highlights
Video players load only when you select Load video. This connects your browser to Supercars' Brightcove player, which receives your IP address, browser information and the referring website, and may use cookies, measure viewing or show advertising under the provider's policies. Videos play inside this page; the website does not download or host copies. Choosing not to load the player keeps it inactive.
Storage, access and retention
Contact submissions are held in the website’s private message records for the operator to review. Hosting and technical service providers may process information as part of operating the site. Messages are not displayed as public comments.
Contact messages do not have an automatic expiry date in the current service. If you would like a submission removed, send a privacy enquiry with its reference number and an email address for follow-up. Clearing cookies does not delete a message already submitted.
For questions about hosting location, logs, backups or access to a particular submission, send the website operator a privacy enquiry. Avoid resending the full contents of a sensitive message.
Your choices and privacy enquiries
To request access, correction or deletion, or raise a privacy concern, contact Supercars Schedule and choose “Privacy enquiry”. Include the submission reference if available, the approximate date and what you would like us to do. Provide a reply email if you want a response.
We may need enough information to confirm that a request relates to your own submission before disclosing or changing it. The contact form records the request; it does not automatically delete records.
For general information about privacy policies and privacy rights in Australia, see the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner’s guidance. That guidance is separate from this website’s own practices.
