Sydney 500 2026 Schedule & Race Times

Which sessions should I follow?

The Sydney season opener spreads racing across Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Sydney Motorsport Park. Evening running makes the day as important as the start time: check the race you want before setting a reminder.

Qualifying, Top Ten Shootout and practice

Use the qualifying filter for grid-setting sessions and Top Ten Shootouts. The pre-event test day is separate from the championship weekend timetable shown here.

Use the session-type filter above to focus on races, qualifying or practice. Coming up shows the next start first; Completed shows the most recent recorded finish first.

Sydney, NSW track time and your city

Sydney uses daylight saving during this round. Select your Australian city to convert evening sessions, or check the track-time line beneath each session.

Times on this page are shown for Sydney. Event dates refer to the circuit's local calendar. Change Your time at the top of the page to see another Australian city.

How to watch Sydney 500 in Australia
